Jiang Ning smiled gently. “You’ve done more than enough. This isn’t your burden to carry alone. We’ll handle this together.”
His words, simple but full of strength, gave her a renewed sense of clarity. She didn’t have to submit to their manipulation anymore. She could take control of her own future.
Meanwhile, Lin Qiang and Lin Feng’s desperation only grew. Lin Qiang’s phone rang again, this time from CEO Li’s assistant. But the words that followed were not what Lin Qiang had hoped for. The situation was worsening. CEO Huang had not only rejected their overtures, but he had also gone as far as to block any further attempts to secure the deal through alternative means. The Lins had lost.
Lin Feng’s face turned ashen as he absorbed the news. “What… what do we do now, Dad?”

“You’ll call her again. We don’t have a choice.”
