Chapter 20
“Impossible! That man disgusts me. I’ve already moved on.”

Loraine’s irritation was evident as thoughts of her ex-husband flooded her mind.

Today’s events made it clear that Marco was nothing but ruthless. How could he slander her after their divorce? Was she out of her mind back then? Why had she ever fallen for someone like Marco? Her taste in men had been terribly flawed.
With a steady voice, she addressed her uncle, Rowan. “Uncle Rowan, I’m not saying this because I still have feelings for Marco. I simply don’t want you to get involved. I can handle this on my own. If he wants to play dirty, I’ll show him what I’m capable of.”
Moments after hanging up, another call came through. It was from her other uncle, Wesley Torres, who lived abroad.
“Lorrie, this is going to be interesting. Let me help. I recently bought an entertainment company. You can use it for whatever you plan next.”
“Thank you, Uncle Wesley!”
At Bryant Group, Marco was furious.
“What the hell! Who authorized this statement?”
His face flushed red with anger as he glared at the director of the public relations department, who trembled before him.
“Your sister… she forced us to do it…”
Marco’s rage reached its peak. Rubbing his temples, he barked, “Delete that statement immediately. Tell our people to remove the topic at once.”
“Yes, sir.”
Before the director could leave, Carl burst into the office, holding an iPad in his hand.
“Bad news, Mr. Bryant. Miss Torres just posted something.”
Marco snatched the iPad from Carl.
Loraine’s post was long but to the point. She shared screenshots of their chat history during the three years they were married. The messages revealed that she had texted him almost every day, but he never replied.
She also exposed the repeated warnings from the Bryant family, advising her not to go near Bryant Group.
The final blow came when Loraine detailed Marco’s affair with Keely, showing how close they were—much closer than she had ever been with Cayson.
