Chapter 93
“Loraine is such a drama queen. I don’t trust her.”

“I agree. I request the government cancel the cooperation with Universe Group right away. We can’t hand over such an important project to thieves!”

The news spread like wildfire across the internet, becoming one of the most talked-about topics of the day. With tensions rising, Loraine knew they had to act quickly. She hurried back home with Cayson, her mind racing with strategies to counter the damage.
At the Torres family home, Aldo was fuming with rage.
“They’ve gone too far this time!” he yelled, throwing his walking stick across the room. “What the hell is she saying? Those damn documents have nothing to do with Lorrie. Why would she steal them? This is ridiculous! I should sue her for slandering my granddaughter!”
His anger was palpable as he reached for his phone, ready to call his lawyer.
“Wait, Grandpa!” Loraine rushed into the room to stop him.
“Lorrie, you’ve come home just in time. How dare they hurt you again and again? I’m going to make them pay!” Aldo bellowed, his face flushed with fury.
Loraine quickly grabbed her grandfather’s arm, trying to calm him down.
“Please, Grandpa, calm down. I know how to make them suffer.”
After a lot of coaxing, Aldo reluctantly agreed to let Loraine handle the matter herself. But as soon as he calmed down, her uncles began calling one after another, eager to take matters into their own hands and teach the Bryant family a lesson.
Loraine, however, knew this was her fight to win. She gathered her family together and shared her plan.
“Cayson, things have gotten worse. Please explain everything to Klein for me. He’s in charge of the government project, and we need to clarify the situation with him. Uncle Rowan, can you check which documents were stolen? Uncle Wesley, I need you to track public opinion on this matter. We might need to intervene if the negativity spreads.”
Her family nodded, each eager to take action. They were proud of how calm and composed Loraine was, even in the midst of a crisis. They could see how much she had grown into a strong, confident woman.
“Don’t worry, Lorrie. We’re always happy to help you,” her uncles assured her. “We’ll take care of the tasks.”
Loraine’s heart swelled with warmth, knowing her family had her back. With them by her side, she felt invincible, ready to face whatever challenges came her way.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere at the Bryant family home couldn’t have been more different.
